AND!

I've been practicing my banjo!! And looking over the linked post, it looks like Theo wanted an update on how I like it: since I've picked it up as many times in 2008 as I did in 2007 (about 4), I'd have to say that I think I'm officially addicted. I left the house this morning wanting just to take it out for a minute to pick a little, but I knew that I would have been late for work. I brought the instructional CD that came with my banjo-learnin' book (which I can't find on Amazon anymore, but it's called something like "How to play 5-string banjo for the complete ignoramos") into the car with me this morning and listened to the lessons ("oh, that's what that song is supposed to sound like").

It's my idea to include my banjo super-stylin's in my future show about my days as a Disneyland Local. Disneyland just makes me think of the banjo. I think it's the dude in the beginning of the Pirates of the Caribbean ride.
