The Me Of 3 Years Ago would have cringed, but my favorite two TV shows right now (the only ones I really watch because of the WGA strike (no 30 Rock!) are The Amazing Race (duh) and Project Runway (thanks to one of my new Twin Cities friends, Jen A). Reality shows. But, in defense of the Reality genre (cue: Me Of 3 Years Ago spinning in her proverbial grave), there are diamonds in the rough that simply because they're of the Reality ilk they get a bad name being lumped in with such trite trash as Big Brother or I Love New York. But I'm telling you, TAR and PR are quality shows.
That being said, I am simply digging on Sweet P, one of the remaining contestants of PR. Not only because she is a talented designer, but she possesses this endearing positive, humble, non-competitive, live and let live vibe that I totally admire. She's super frakin' cool and I want to grow up to be her. I'm not sure she'll win, based on her super tight competition, but she'll definitely be a success if only because she's racked up so much good karma from being so... sweet. If I ever make the move to LA, I want to look her up and make her my life mentor.
