Finally, a little sense around here.

You know, I read recently that the way to boost your blog visibility is to put high-profile words in your titles or something. Like "Britney Spears' Vagina Flash." But I like my weird titles, hence I sit stubbornly in obscurity.

Anyway, despite my lukewarm slag of the movie, I am really happy to see Robert Downey, Jr, got an Oscar nom for "Tropic Thunder." It's so deliciously self-referential. Although he might deserve it more (though I don't know if that's because he's dead), I hope Ledger doesn't win it over Downey, Jr.

Hollywood loves to laugh at itself. And masturbate. All over your wallet. By this, I mean that I CAN'T BELIEVE 'BUTTON' GOT A BEST PICTURE NOD. Oh, who am I kidding, of course I believe it. Like my friend Danforth said about "Juno" getting the nod last year, "Oh, come on, Hollywood, knock it off."
