I have plenty of ideas for your money.

Boing Boing posted a fascinating article about very expensive bottled water "for rich morons" (HA!), so I followed the link to the original article, which states:

A few months ago, Madonna’s pal let it slip that the Material Girlfriend spends $10,000 each month for water blessed by Kabbalah rabbis.

And I didn't read much further because this was cause enough for an enraged entry.

$10,000 a month, Madge? SERIOUSLY? On bottled water? Blessed? By Kabbalah rabbis? This is what religion does to you, people: makes you waste your money on someone waving their hand over your drinking water for whatever reason. It sucks enough that hardly any of us can trust our tap water anymore and that probably in a matter of a decade, we'll have to purchase ALL the water we drink. Part of me loves the idea that people can waste money on fancy bottled water because of the possibility of it postponing the inevitable universal shift to bottles. Like their spending exorbitant amounts of money on bottled water will go into the "bottled water fund" that will stave off the greedy, poisonous bastards who want nothing to be free, even a human necessity like water. But, Madonna, come ON! You know I have loved you and your music and your awesomeness for many, many years, but you have nothing else to do with $10,000 a month? I have plenty of ideas.

Sigh... I know that insanely rich people have, probably more often than not, worked really hard for their fortune. This is definitely the case with Madonna. But at this point, is it so inconceivable to now use your money-making-money skills to save the rest of the world with what it seems to so desperately need: money?

P.S. I love that Forbes called her the Material Girlfriend. I mean, I'm pretty out of touch with what Madonna is calling herself these days, but I'm pretty sure it's just The Material Girl, guys.

Picky Me.

I need a second job. I have to move out of the rent-free place in which I'm staying by the end of the month (have to, the house is apparently being forclosed on) and I simply do not have the funds to put down both a security deposit and rent. The job I'm at now is through my temp agency and I think they want to hire me permanently, but there's some hoops they have to jump through concerning a crazy former employee that serve as an obstacle to my obtaining gainful employment. So I'm looking at restaurants in the area at which I can make a cool $400 a week or something.

Trevor has told me about Manny's Steakhouse, so I went to check out their site. The FIRST thing I noticed were the bull's slouching testicles. Testicles which do not seem to hang correctly in the picture. I deduce that the artist, and I cannot blame her/him, was so uncomfortable painting bull's balls that they couldn't do it well. And what is up with that weird sheen? Ew!

I so do not want to work there.

No pressure, but I do have a paypal if you so choose to help.

File Under: But why do I care?

Does anybody else wonder why The Millionaire Matchmaker is only matching male millionaires?

I'm sure there are some rich-a$$ ladies out there that would love to find Mr. Right.
